Patrick Horain

I am an Associate Professor with the ARTEMIS department at Telecom SudParis.

My teaching activities include creating course units and lectures for engineering and Master students. I co-ordinate the Image, Multimedia and Applications academic field at Telecom SudParis.

My research interests cover image processing and computer vision at wide. I have a long experience in perceptive interfaces for human-computer interaction. Within the CNRS research network on Information, Signal, Images & viSion (ISIS), I co-animated a special action on Face, gesture, action and behaviour (2009-2016). I co-organized and chaired the IHCI 2014 and IHCI 2017 international conferences on Intelligent Human-Computer Interaction. I also chaired the Organisation Committee of the Web3D 2022 conference.
